What we do
e-STEAM¹⁰¹ is an education package, focused on teaching 3D printing and entrepreneurship to educators, students, youth and adults across Aotearoa. 3D Printing is an exciting technology with incredible potential, but learning how to do it can often seem difficult and intimidating.

From small classes to large events, and everything in between. Our workshops deliver exciting, hands-on experiences with 3D printing where students design, make and sell their very own products.

Our Print Station Package is an all-inclusive service.
We procure the perfect setup for your needs and deliver on-site installation at your school or organization.
These print stations will have everything you need to get a running head start, without all the stress. We procure everything for you, from the machines and materials, to the tools and the shelving.
Once the print station is installed, we'll give you the full tour and show you how it all works.
We’ve done the research and we’re connected with the best suppliers, to make sure you get everything you need and nothing you don't.
Leave all the heavy lifting to us. We provide full on-site installation services and will calibrate the equipment then show you how to use it.
Educator training
We run a comprehensive, 6-week training program for educators, youth workers and community service providers who work extensively with youth.
Our e-STEAM¹⁰¹ educator training program will guide you through the basics of digital design, 3D printing, entrepreneurship and curriculum/program integration. We take an innovative approach to professional development by using practical design projects as the back-bone of our delivery. Participants will not only learn how to use 3D printing but will make several incredible designs that they can utilise in the classroom or at home.
Training includes a full day, in-person workshop followed by 5 virtual training sessions that can be done from the comfort of your own home or at your organization.
We'll teach you how to make incredible designs using clever techniques that produce the highest quality results.
Our technical training is practical and project-based so you can develop a range of skills in a fraction of the time.
Youth Workshops
Our workshops are highly engaging, collaborative, and practical by nature. Youth participants will receive a hands-on learning experience where they will design, print and sell their very first product. We know exactly how to get youth excited and specialise in knowing how to guide them through their first experience.
We are passionate when it comes empowering youth through STEAM and entrepreneurship. We help them learn how make real money for themselves, their families and their communities while they're still young!
In most cases, we actually purchase one of the designs that youth will make and utilise them in the work that we do. This means that often, participants are making their first sale by the end of our workshop. We offer a range of workshop experiences that can be tailored to the needs of your youth.
In all of our workshops, participants will create their own designs, watch a 3D printer make their designs real and walk away with a product they can be proud of.
We know how to get youth excited and confident to engage with STEAM and entrepreneurship for the very first time.

In our first, marae-based workshop, we ran an e-STEAM¹⁰¹ workshop over two days with our youngest cohort ever! Youth participants were 10 - 12 years old and although they're still young, they picked it up with lightning speed!

Manurewa High School is at the forefront of innovative education in the heart of South Auckland. Our team delivered e-STEAM¹⁰¹ workshops for two groups of 20 students in Year 10, working out of their amazing maker space.
In collaboration with Young Enterprise Trust and the Ministry for Pacific Peoples, we co-designed & facilitated STEAM challenges for Young Pasifika Scholars.
